PETS: Pet friendly homes are on an "approval" basis only. There is a non-refundable $100.00 pet fee. You will need to ask your vet to provide us with a current and valid vaccination certificate and proof of flea treatment 30 days
BEFORE your arrival date.

Check out time is by 10 a.m. on the date of your
departure.

OWNER'S CLOSET: Most of our owners will have a closet
that is locked. This closet contains personal items and
ARE NOT FOR YOUR USE OR INSPECTION.
|
Occupancy is limited to the number shown in brochure. We
ask that you not bend the rules.
|
CANCELLATIONS: A rental reservation may be cancelled
prior to April 1st with the refund of your deposit, less
a 10% handling fee. If cancelled after April 1st, your
deposit may only be refunded if the house is re-rented. We encourage you to purchase trip insurance.

Rates On The Rental Page Do Not Include
All Applicable Fees And Taxes.
A 6% NC Sales Tax and a 3% Macon County Room Tax will be
charged to the tenant for all rentals.

REFUNDS ON BREAKDOWNS: There will be no refunds on
appliances or heat failures. Any failure will be fixed
as quickly as possible.
|
Security Deposit of $500.00 will be a separate charge on your credit card and held only as an authorization. Release of your security deposit will be within 45 days of departure.
|
Our local newspaper, "The Highlander," comes
out on Tuesdays and Fridays, and may be purchased at any
grocery store or drug store or in front of the newspaper
office for 50¢.
|
Please charge all long distance phone calls to a credit
card or to your home phone. We encourage you to purchase a phone card for your use.
|
Telephone numbers of all rentals will be supplied in the
lease.
|
CLEANING: There will be a minimum charge of $65.00 on
all rentals.
|
Prices subject to change at the owner's discretion.

Our houses are completely furnished. However, if you
have a special cooking pot, coffee pot, etc., we
encourage you to bring this with you.
|
Our rentals include amenities such as, soaps/shampoos, toilet tissue, paper towels, trash liners, coffee/creamers/sugars, etc... For stays longer than a week, we encourage you to patronize one of our local shops for any further personal needs. Linens and towels are provided for you in each home.
|
LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES: Aside from normal wear and tear,
you will be responsible for any damages to the property
or its contents during your stay.
|
Leases are not allowed to sublease
|
SHOWING OF THE HOUSE: From time the time, it will be
necessary for us to show your rental. However, we will
make an appointment with you and try to make it
agreeable with you as possible. We do, realize that you
are on vacation. If we can not reach you we will have to
show it!

There is a $50 reservation fee.
